Lacy Vincent
Executive Director
We are thrilled to introduce Lacy, Executive Director for Belmare Senior Living who brings a wealth of experience and passion to our community. With a career in healthcare that began in 1999, Lacy started as a CNA and steadily advanced through LVN school and her associate’s program. Five years ago, she took on the role of administrator and is now pursuing her Bachelor’s of Registered Nursing, demonstrating her continued commitment to professional growth. Lacy also holds a Director of Staff Development, Infection Control and Hospice Certification.
Lacy’s diverse experience spans senior living, hospice, and psychiatric care. She also owns a patient advocacy and resource company dedicated to supporting seniors, and she strongly believes in delivering the highest quality care that meets the unique needs of each resident.
When she’s not working, Lacy loves spending time at the beach, taking nature walks, time with her family and enjoys karaoke. She’s also an animal lover and a big Disney fan!

Cynthia Villalovoz
Sales & Marketing Director
Cynthia began her career 30 years ago as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the senior care industry, providing direct care to seniors in a skilled nursing facility. She gained valuable experience in various roles, such as Social Services and medical records. After her grandfather was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, she realized that seniors and families often faced difficult decisions and needed guidance and support to make decisions about senior care options and knew stepping into the role of the Sales and Marketing Director would allow her to help families make informed decisions about senior care. She has a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by seniors and their families, and is passionate about personalized attention to every resident. Her favorite part of her job is hearing the history of the seniors she serves, and she believes that each senior has a unique story and a wealth of knowledge and wisdom to share. She is committed to creating a warm, welcoming, and engaging environment for seniors who can thrive and enjoy a fulfilling and meaningful life at Belmare.
In her free time, Cynthia enjoys spending time with her family. She is committed to having dinner with her family as much as possible to catch up on their busy lives, weekend trips, shopping, and beach trips.

Jaklin Bakoz
Executive Chef
Jaklin Bakoz has spent nearly 25 years sharing her love of cooking with others. She began her journey preparing meals for patients, families, and staff at a medical facility, where her food brought comfort and care. Over the years, she has catered for large events, community gatherings, and special occasions. Jaklin has also dedicated countless hours cooking for her local church. A passionate baker, she finds joy in creating everything from fresh breads to beautiful pastries and cakes—always made with love.

Marciano Luis
Maintenance Director
With over two decades of experience in the construction industry, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Belmare team. Having spent 11 years at Foster Farms in a managerial capacity while pursuing construction projects on the side and later joining a construction company.
During my tenure at Corrigan Construction, I played an integral role in the construction of Belmare showcasing my exceptional skills in finished carpentry. When Belmare opened its doors, I transitioned from Corrigan’s construction to become a member of the team, where I continue to contribute my knowledge to the betterment of the community.
I am passionate about ensuring the satisfaction of residents and families at Belmare. I take pride in overseeing projects while adhering to stringent safety guidelines, ensuring that the community remains a secure and welcoming environment for all.
Beyond my professional pursuits, I find joy in traveling and exploring new destinations, as well as having a love for cars. I cherish spending quality time with my wife and three daughters and prioritize family above all else.
Being a part of the Belmare team has been a career highlight. Each day, I find fulfillment in making a positive difference in the lives of our residents and contributing to the success of the community I proudly serve.

Sheila DeRocher
Lifestyle & Leisure Director
Sheila brings years of experience and a genuine passion for connecting with people of all ages. Her experiences volunteering in schools, chaperoning field trips, and serving as a Girl Scout Leader helped her discover her true calling—helping those who need her most.
Previously an Activities Director in a neighboring county, Sheila found that working with seniors truly makes her heart happy. She finds deep joy in getting to know each resident, listening to their life stories, and bringing joy and smiles to their faces every day.
Sheila brings warmth, energy, and approachability to everyone she meets—residents, families, and team members alike. She is dedicated to creating engaging, meaningful activities and is always open to new ideas that help make each day more joyful for those in her care.

Kurtis Woody
Health & Wellness Director
With a strong foundation in healthcare and a dedicated military background, Kurtis brings a wealth of experience and compassion to his role as the Health and Wellness Director. After serving in the military, where he developed a deep commitment to service and leadership, Kurtis transitioned into the healthcare field, earning his LVN credentials as well as RCFE Administrator Certificate, he has honed his expertise across multiple sectors.
His diverse career includes significant experience at Encompass Health, where he further developed his clinical skills in rehabilitation and patient care. Additionally, he is well-versed in hospice care, providing end-of-life support with dignity and respect, ensuring families and patients receive the highest quality care during challenging times.
As a Health and Wellness Director, Kurtis combines his clinical expertise with his passion for holistic health, focusing on fostering well-being through personalized wellness programs. He is dedicated to improving the health and lives of those he serves, while continuously leveraging his diverse experience in both skilled nursing and hospice care to meet the unique needs of his community.

Desiree Y. Soria
Business Office Manager
Working in Skilled Nursing for 22 years, I have enjoyed the time I have spent with our seniors and their families. I started out as a receptionist and moved up to Admissions Director, then Business Office Manager. I have recently began training as a Medication Technician to further my knowledge and experience of working with our amazing residents.
I enjoy traveling, camping and spending time with my family. San Franciso is my favorite city and I never miss the opportunity to spend the weekend there.

Jessica Gonzalez
Concierge
I was born and raised in Oakdale. My journey in customer service began at the doors of Target for a tenure of four years. The satisfaction of assisting customers fueled my passion for helping others, leading me to venture into the assisted living industry. Inspired by the heartfelt stories shared by my sister, who also works in this field, I was drawn to follow her path. Witnessing her unwavering dedication and work ethic motivated me to make a difference in the lives of seniors.
I started as a caregiver, spending three rewarding years providing compassionate care, before transitioning to the role of a medication technician for another two years. Joining Belmare marked an exciting chapter in my career, as it allowed me to blend my customer service background with my desire to support seniors and their families. As the concierge, I take pride in being the friendly face residents and visitors encounter. From greeting guests to assisting service drivers and addressing inquiries, I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment for all.
My genuine love for connecting with others shines through in my interactions with residents, where I enjoy listening to their captivating stories filled with rich history. Since Belmare’s opening in November 2022, I’ve been an integral part of the community, bringing dedication and compassion to my role each day.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my large family, bonding with my precious dogs, hanging out with my friends and adventuring outdoors to relax and explore many destinations. further adding depth to my well-rounded personality.
